Dawood Hercules Chemicals Limited is pleased to announce that the Honourable Lahore High Court has approved the demerger and transfer of its fertilizer business as per the Scheme of Arrangement, into a wholly owned subsidiary, DH Fertilizers Limited (DHFL) with effect from January 1, 2011. This demerger involves the separation/transfer of assets, liabilities and employees etc. relating to the fertilizer business to DH Fertilizers Limited. The name of Dawood Hercules Chemicals Limited will be changed to Dawood Hercules Corporation Limited (DH Corp.), which will function as a Holding Company. Requisite regulatory approvals from the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan have been obtained.
