Donaton for people of swat
In the tussle between the Pakistan security forces and the Taliban, thousands of people in the Swat and Shangla valleys of North West Pakistan have fled their homes. Locals estimate that about 60% of the 1.5 million inhabitants of the Swat valley have forsaken their houses and taken refuge or rented a place to stay. Those who are able to afford leasing a home, are managing the disruption to their lives. However, this clash has left thousands of poor and marginalized people no choice but to live in the area at the mercy of their fate.
Although people in Swat support the action, they are left extremely vulnerable with limited access to food, education and shelter. Dawood Hercules, therefore has dispatched 400 bags containing food items (flour, rice, tea and sugar), a blanket, and a ball for children. Volunteers from the head office and the Plant assembled to package the goods and load them on the trucks. We hope that this would provide a little relief to our brothers and sisters surviving in the midst of conflict.
